Tuohy's 16:21.8 was "only" a 161 so this might still "only" be high 160s. But, it will be what it will be. It is a fast (probably short) course.

Some of the other times seemed pretty fast also. It is a fast course. I'm going to land on 167.

The course is 100m short and very hard-packed. However, it is pretty hilly with ~200ft of elevation gain

Tuohy is slower than Riggs, Cook, and Hutchins. No generational talent in there.

Didn't Tuohy ran 9:01 which is 9:44 2 mile? Tuohy did not try to run a fast 2 mile and rarely even ran 2 mile in High School.

i'm old enough to remember when we line them up and just ran on the course in xc and didnt worry about these made up and fake so called speed ratings.

The course is not 100 short. I ran there 4 years in high school. Fast, packed course but full 5k. 16:02 is legit. I ran 16:20 on it my senior year and I ran 4:20 for 16 in the spring.

Well, I ran there 6 years in high school, and one year I raced with a measuring wheel and got an accurate measurement of the course and you're both wrong. And I won the race while I did it. Like I did all my races.
