Professional runners often have a minimum number of races they must run in order to collect earnings per their contracts. Jordan is likely entering these races lately to fulfill the minimum obligations of her existing contract and will retire when her contract's period runs out. She isn't at a competitive level anymore, but the under-the-radar racing basically will get her free money, so I don't blame her.
