Maybe a knee brace, more focused massage or foam rolling, new PT exercises, etc. Maybe a new pair of shoes that hits differently.
But you need to know what is going on to know if it might be possible.
thank you so much for reminding me about knee braces! I used to to run with one of those 'strap' ones and it seemed to help, I think I will bring it back
as I mentioned above I am also trying to get back to PT-type exercises after some runs, even though I'm not sure how much/whether they help
I have also noticed that one pair of trainers seems to aggravate it worse than other. for the race itself, though, that may be a moot point as I'm not going to leave my alphaflies on the shelf
