How?????? This guy hasn't broken 16 how is he nationally ranked? Not hating but this guy's run 4:29, did he bribe them to put him on there? How did he get there?
Another possible reason of why he is on there is that FM has had good teams in the past, and because this year they do not have much depth, Dyestat assumes there will be a top 100 guy on the team to score low points for them to help this team out to potentially make NXN. Dyestat had this team at #2 in New York. FM has had legends in the past like Peyton Geehrer, Nick Ryan, Peter Ryan, Patrick Perry, Garrett Brennan, etc.
McGinn is still getting a 190+ speed rating. I’m starting to think that it’s how good he is. there’s no way he cannot make NXN this year. And their 4/5 SRs are in the 140’s. This is the first time the Fm scorers had such low SRs but it was a major improvement from what they ran at VVS. And VVS FM speed ratings were rated too high. It’s great that they found at least a 4/5/6 that are willing to work hard, improve and help the team as much as they could with such a small number.

That's a pretty high bar. I don't see that happening for a couple of reasons. Like you mention, he will have no returning team member who can race within 2 minutes of him. Also, the level of individual competition in NY next year isn't likely to push him to great heights. FM didn't travel to any quality meets this season, and both their teams figure to be worse next year, so he might not see a hot race until States.
