Weren't you paying attention several years ago when Mary Cain did attempt a track comeback by herself and did a couple of races but couldn't factor at the pointy end and she promptly lost interest and quit trying without putting in the grind? It's a common theme with her.
So I have from a source that Mary Cains Lawsuit against Nike is getting dropped. Lack of evidence directly pointing to Nike Knowledge of her accusations.
Anyway, The Atalanta nyc thing is a joke. They apparently pay these elite athletes 60 thousand a year to sometimes speak to youth. As a nonprofit I cannot wait until these 87000 new irs agents audit the organization. Also the athletes they sponsor are unsufferable and priviledged. But I think at this point it would probably be best for her to walk away from endurance sports as a profession. There's too much baggage, both internal and external. Both her and her fans will always compare to what she was and what could've been.
Go become an accountant, or a doctor, or a marine biologist and then go bike 20 miles on the weekend for the enjoyment and sake of staying healthy.
Tracksmith supports Central Park Track Club and Brooklyn Track Club in NYC. There is no need for them to support a non-performing club that doesn't meet minimum competitive standards.

Her job was to develop the community. If they don't have much of one it is an indication that she failed.
