I’ve never heard of someone comparing their 5k race pace to a marathon…until today.
Or perhaps I missed Drew Hunter say “I felt good, that’s 1:34 marathon pace.”

I wouldn't care, but she at least knew the correct route. Slowed down 10 seconds at least, maybe more in the middle because of confusion on the course.

Congrats! The first race is the base, whether it's the first race of the season or the first race in a long time. It sets the bar for your training and your next race.

I had no idea what to expect, I guessed 20 minutes and the timers said 20:40, so I was close.

FYI I've run 4 minutes 22 seconds faster than this over 5k.
