    Doesn’t work this way. Cannot just jump the process to get a green card. Kipchoge could not get one on a fast track.

    The process is to first obtain a P1 VISA, which allows one to eventually apply for a green card. With the usual B1/B2 visas most of the foreign athletes have, you cannot apply for a green card unless you get married or another specific route, but not based solely on athletics.

    ^I ask because Kejelcha's wedding in January was in Ethiopia, but I can't remember where he went after NOP got disbanded.

    That's right. They have to get psuedo-vaccinations that do not prevent contraction of disease. Complete lack of choice over body and health.
