Exactly, they gave up guns without a fight and they literally now have zero say in how far government can stick it to them.

While I agree there is pretty much nothing to fear with the jab, there is also nothing to fear with COVID at this point (assuming you aren’t obese or really old).

I got the vax early on because I thought I’d need it for work and travel. I realize that it made very little difference in my safety as I’m very healthy.

If the job is that important to you, get the vax. If not, stick with your decision not to get it. Or tell them you want the job, but you don’t want to get vaxxed and see what they say. It’s a bad idea to fake it.

I got fired from a very good healthcare position last Sept. I found a way higher paying position as these CA jerk offs created a healthcare shortage. I simply used a religious exemption I copied from a legal website. They have a form to use and if it gets refused you can sue your lame company. Don’t get the jab ever. 2 of my coworkers got the myocarditis and their lying MDs told them it would get better. Sure. I was taught heart muscle doesn’t repair. Guess physiology class was wrong? Don’t get the jab. The lame hospital I worked for is now mandating another scam, the monkey pox vax. This will never end.

It's simple. You don't get vaxed. Stand up for your rights. And do not get the job. They will get someone else. And the world will keep spinning.

I think the vax is safe, but there is a very small chance of adverse effects. Why introduce that small risk if COVID poses a near zero risk as well, again assuming the OP is a healthy young male?

Certainly the companies that brought us Vioxx and OxyContin wouldn’t mislead the public for profit.

Lying about meeting a job qualification can result in a future civil suit. All back wages and compensation can be the cost of such a suit. A college friend lied about a qualification to get his dream job. Six months later the lie was discovered and he was fired. Two months later he was served papers and faced the civil suit. All wages and cost of health benefits were cited. He settled out of court.

You should tell them very politely that you'd love to take the job, but unfortunately, you aren't vaccinated. You hope they'll reach out if and when they decide to change their policy.

I am triple vaccinated, but vaccine mandates are ridiculous at this point and until a vaccine is developed that prevents transmission.

(I should add that I and my entire family - all fully vaccinated except my youngest - just had Covid. Our unvaccinated 2 year old had no worse of a case than any of the rest of us. I do think anyone over 40 or planning to become pregnant should get vaccinated. But I don't support mandates, and I especially don't support them for people under 60 or so.)

My brother just applied for a job, but he can't get vaccinated because of immunity issues. Can he request that you don't work at the place he gets employed? Thanks.
