NAU is the obvious pick but the Young twins have a degree of independence, curiosity and adventure that might lead them elsewhere. Assuming they go the collegiate route they'll also want to pursue their interests in photography, filmmaking, etc., so that will be part of their calculation.
My guess in the office betting pool is Vanderbilt. For no logical reason (since NAU is taken), other than I think they ran at the Music City Carnival and went to Nashville again after Runninglane. And Nashville is a lot of fun.

What if one goes to Oregon and one goes to NAU. We'll see who the best coach in the country is between Mike Smith and Jerry. Only half joking, but would be interesting to see.

4)Colin Sahlman going there too for the NP -> NAU dynasty pipeline.
Would be pretty surprised if they went elsewhere, but cant guarantee anything particularly in the NIL age. If they go to NAU, NAU could win something ridiculous like 9 XC titles in 10 years.
Plus two recent grads, Grijalva and Nur, just ran well at WC.
I think Nico commented the twins probably were not heading to NAU, so Stanford is my bet.

I think they do well in school, Leo maybe a little more into studying than Lex, but I don’t think NP is a particularly rigorous high school. They take AP classes and do well. I’m sure they’re smart enough to handle Stanford. I mean Ryan hall made it through Stanford. They’re also into the entrepreneurial vibe that Stanford has going on.
Hopefully for their sake whichever school has the best academics for their chosen major. I hope they don't make running the priority, use it as a means to a free education.

I mean they do call CU the Harvard of the Rockies. The smartest athlete I remember a guy that ran 8:55 and 4:09 back in the late 1990's that skipped the D1's and attended Tufts University because he wanted a good career and realized Running was just an activity. Focussing on being a pro runner is like getting excited about mobile home living there is no real money in our sport to make a pro career really worth while.
