That's why I pointed out that OK State has a world record holder in its 3-4-5.
Alright, who will be OK State’s 3-4-5?
I think their top 5 will be:
1. Cook
2. Roe
3. henteman
4. born
5. McConnell
I think they have a transfer coming in Billah Jepkirui (supposedly 4:11 - 1500 and 9:25 - 3000). I can see them scoring 125-150 points if things go well, but that probably does not make top 2.
And Ping will be a major factor. She turns 20 in the spring and I keep hearing that is young for elite runners and we should expect huge improvement from age 19-21.

It seems to me that Ping peaked in grades 8-10. But hopefully she will try to score. Ok state is a good program for her to improve in.
Tuohy fans claim that female runners always improve with age and OK State has a world record on their roster.
Never heard of them saying that, what I keep hearing in this site is how Tuohy will never improve as she age and most recently they talked about how Tuohy is guaranteed to not PR next year.

You haven't been reading then. There are hundreds of posts about how great she is for a 20 year old. It is always pointed out that she only loses to runners who are 2-3 years older.
Don't sleep on Arkansas! They have stepped their game up this year at 5000m and 10000m. If Taylor Ewert comes back, plus Thorvaldson, Gregory, Van Camp they are very capable of taking a podium spot.

NC State is simply unbeatable with Tuohy, Chmiel, Starliper, Bush, Seymour. One sad thing we non- nc state fans need to accept. Battle for 2nd should be close.
OK State is home and has the best coach in the NCAA.
no colorado? no alabama?
im not sure about byu, who do they have? they lost all their top scorers i believe
I would not sleep on BYU. They got 2nd last year. Even after losing their top 2 they will still have a good top 4 - Fretheway, Lee, transfer Lindsey Stallworth, and Lexy Halladay (she finished only 9 seconds behind Frentheway at conference but she did not do as well at nationals). Don’t forget Carmen Alder who was only 3 seconds in the mile behind Wayment (though mile times are not the best predictors for a 6k). If Jenna Hutchins starts racing again they should be good again. If not, then the other candidates for the #5 spot are Sadie Sargent (who ran a 20:41 in 2019) and Anastasiya Davis who ran a 20:36 in 2019.
