Can someone tell me why this schedule is so drawn out?

Why is there basically an hour between the men' 400 heats, women's 400 heats, and men's 10,000 finals. Is it to trcik the fans into thinking they saw a lot of action?

Should have cut that down to 45 minutes and give everyone 30 minutes of their life back.

Are there any other elite native american athletes other than Kassanavoid?

So they can fit in a sufficient number of commercials for the broadcast.

Well that was dog crap from Kendall Ellis.

Ellis is one of my faves but doesn't seem to have improved much since college.

I know the Russian athletes are banned from competing in pretty much anything right now but what about those who have been competing as a neutral athlete, such as Mariya Lasitskene? I noticed she did not compete in the high jump qualifying yesterday. Did they go ahead and ban everybody who is of Russian ancestry?

Americans 2 and 3 in the hammer throw going into the final 3 rounds. Canada's Camryn Rogers had a huge throw to take 1st in the 3rd round. Should be an exciting finish, they tend to hold back a bit in the first 3 rounds.
