I’m surprised that we haven’t seen Ollin Hacker or Morgan Beadlescomb sign. Hacker didn’t even run USAs. I thought Hacker was a done deal at On but maybe they don’t have any money left after their recent signings. Beadlescomb is in a tough spot. Not a huge social media following, no NCAA titles, a little old for his grade but a hell of a talent. It would be a shame to see guys like him and Jonathan Davis fall by the wayside. That being said, I could easily see Davis going into the working world after not getting many good offers.

Probably because there isn't any development left in them. Hacker is 25 and Beedlescomb is 24. They are both at their peak right now. They are national class runners and nothing more. They will get pro contracts, but they won't be for very much.
yeah everyone is waiting until after the attention goes away to announce the money they're throwing into the wind. track is such a charity companies are sneaking athletes money and dont want attention for it.
I was thinking like new contracts would be available/drawn up after a world championship and (albeit in my head) agents / companies have already worked things out through a handshake deal....its letsrun bro , everything is speculation
Has Sowinsky figured it out or what? You'd think their would be a few more like him. Highly desired pacesetter gets paid to travel the world and hang out with cool people, eat great food etc...
I think I am more curious as to where all the female pros coming out of college are going. It seems like the male big names out of college have either just been signed (Mario and Yared) and then Abdi seems like he is in talks about going pro. So what about on the womens side? No announcement from any of the colorado women yet? What about Lauren Ryan and Maudie Skyrig- they both signed with agents but no group yet. What about Christina Aragon? Etc
I am hoping that both Maudie and Lauren can go back to their native countries and STOP sucking off of the US system. Why is the US Club system spending money to develop foreign athletes whe US athletes are not being taken care of?
Shocked we have only had an announcement from Courtney Wayment, Julia Heymach and Hannah Steelman, is that it for this year? Is no one else going pro this year from the womens side? Seems like very few usually many more announcements
I know a couple guys looking and mulling over offers.
One is in college and may turn pro, the other just graduated from college.
They hope to know by the end of the summer.
It's interesting, knowing a couple guys who I communicate often, how the process is working, at least for them.
