Stay in a hotel maybe? An Airbnb? Almost any campground? The only people using public showers are the ones seeking them out on purpose while ignoring other options. Why do you people hate Eugene so much? Do posters here get paid to be anti-Nike? Who is behind this?
I was stationed is SoCal in the Marines. Over Memorial Day in 1983 I went to the US Festival, 4 days, 3 nights sleeping and sitting wherever. No shower, just splashed water on my face occasionally, changed underwear and all was good. Go for the meet. If your doing this on the cheap and bandit camping safety should be your first concern. Daily showers are also over rated.
Just a heads up: you can't urinate in these public showers, and they do monitor the drain, and will fine anyone misusing the facility.
They also don't provide shampoo, so be sure to bring one of those little shampoo botts. Prell or whatever. Just make sure its small, because you don't want to 'poo size the bott in a public shower or you could get mugged.

There are a lot of people who weren’t able to get a hotel or Airbnb in Eugene. I am having to drive in from an hour away. On double session days it will be nice to go for a run in Eugene in between sessions. It isn’t feasible to drive back to where I am staying to run / shower. Whoever posted the Amazon Pool info — thank you…that is a great option!

The kind of people who inquire about public showers shower for 30 minutes. Very disturbing.

Have some self respect and buy a cheapo sun shower on Amazon or something. Fill it in the river and let it warm up. However, it will not wash off your childlike learned helplessness.
