I’m all for Black woman empowerment. She’s expressing herself and you dorks should leave her alone. She would tell you haters to kiss her butt, but you can’t even afford that.

She thanked her supporters and said something unintelligible to her haters, then said the journey is not over before giggling as if she had been smoking weed all day.
NGL, all the Sha'carrie slander is super annoying and a lot of the negative comments are starting to just be rumor. If you don't like her, unfollow and move on. There's a lot of other athletes to talk about. This thread has been much milder than others I've seen.
Make up your mind. You hate “ghetto” black people, but also think black people need to be “ghetto” to be actually black or to recognize injustice and racism? Sounds like black people can’t win with you - either you fit your stereotypes of blackness and are a “clown” as a result, or you’re not really black if you’re anything else.
And doesn’t it occur to you that a black person growing up around white people is likely to experience racism precisely because he’s different? Imagine a black person growing up around you saying things like “fo’ sho” when talking about black people and thinking you’re clever or insightful and not ignorant.

I don't really see the problem, she's not getting any global medal bonuses this year, she's not preventing anyone else from going to Worlds and she would have been a liability in the relays for the other Nike athletes etc. People getting paid without deserving it brings hope to others. I hope she've made enough from Nike to retire already.
