The two sentences you strung together cannot possibly coexist, you cannot laugh every time you hear something that you never heard of until just now. The fact that you've never heard of long COVID makes you look stupid, the sentences you typed prove it.
Great point, but in math/formal logic a statement is considered 'trivially true' when defined over an empty quantifier. In other words you can say "every time (this thing that never happens) happens, then P is true" and it is considered a true statement no matter what the value of P is. So for example "x = x+1 for all x such that x is an even prime greater than 2" is considered true. If you interpret the comment this way....it's actually still pretty dumb.
