I would say, conservatively, that maybe 30% of the officials were vaccinated. The rest came through the back door.

It will be an interesting contrast of styles when Mu and Hodgkinson do race. Keeley prefers to negative split whereas Mu will almost always run a positive. A 60 second last 400 will give Hodgkinson some hope. Mu remains a strong favourite but she can't take gold for granted. I think it's fair to say that everyone else is racing for bronze

No Keely would pace herself properly, take a look at how many people overcooked it on lap 1 in the splits pdf. Maybe they decided its not the biggest DL and they could just treat it as a fun experiment. Moraa and Hail went from 11/12th to 4/5th.

Athing Mu is a poised and gracious person and athlete. She’s both appropriately confident and modest and down to earth. Anybody who has listened to her interviewed would conclude the same, and this comment is a great example. At the same time, Mu is a generational talent and if she is healthy and fit, she will not be losing to Keely in any type of 800 that matters. Keely is great, truly, but Mu is soon to be the goat. In fact, Mu is probably already the goat non doped, non DSD female 800 runners. I know many want this to be a hard fought and closely contested rivalry, but Mu is just too good.

I am still in the Ajee Wilson camp. I may be the only one left. Mu may be unstoppable right now but I could definitely see a 1-2 American finish at the championships

The issue I have is you have no idea who doped in the past or dopes currently and who did or does not. Why pretend that you do?
