Long story short, I recently landed a new job that I'll be doing fully remotely, so I'm looking to move from my current city (population ~45k) to one that has more people and more of a consistent nightlife.
I've put a lot of effort into my profiles and game, so I've had success in the smaller pond, but would love to up the options with my mobility.
Looking to certainly stay in the US, and would love suggestions on the east coast but I'm not married to it.
Cities I've heard good things about: Charlotte, Atlanta, Nashville
Cities I've heard bad things about: Louisville, Memphis, New York
Figured a passionate group of running fans that spend too much time on the internet such as myself would be the best place to go for quality advice. Thanks!
Memphians will be happy to see being mentioned next to New Yorker's That's probably a first.
So you basically try to compare Southern cities to New York which should have the biggest nightlife and dating choices of all of them. What Memphis has going is the cheapest housing of all of them but I would not really recommend it for runners because of the weather.
Nashville has gotten ridiculously expensive for no good reason.
Pick a place where you want to be and remember you can find your partner anywhere, it might not be in the coolest club or city.
