Is there a source for this? A flute injury isn’t great but it would be probably be better to be struggling that than the more unknown effects of long covid.

I will say, he definitely hasn’t lost his attitude, you can tell he’s still trying to stick his nose in it (he’s stuck to the pacer as long as he can) he just isn’t physically there yet.

I think heard somewhere that it’s mostly a problem when he’s running 1500m paces so maybe a longer race would be better at the moment?

If this is true, then my sincere condolences to the families of these runners but if my memory serves me right YMMV was posting quite recently and I used to look at his posts because he had quite a lot of narrative about diet which was interesting. I think he practiced intermittent fasting which I also do.

I do not contest what you say but how do you in fact know that these unfortunate runners passed away?

We still do not know enough about the disease to predict what the long-term effect will be but we just hope that Stewart will recover fully in due course.

Would be interesting to see the periodic chest x-rays. They may have permanent lung scarring which unfortunately is permanently lost lung tissue.
