WE ALL KNOW THE BEST WAY TO ACHIEVE A WORLD RECORD IS TO RUN WORLD RECORD PACE FOR AS LONG AS YOU CAN, AND THEN SIMPLY INCREASE THAT DISTANCE EACH DAY.
SAY, FOR EXAMPLE, YOU CAN HOLD 3:25 1500M PACE FOR 150M TODAY. TOMORROW, TRY TO EXTEND THAT TO 151M. I DON'T THINK ONE MORE METER IS TOO MUCH TOO ASK; YOU MUST REALLY PUSH YOURSELF AND BELIEVE. AFTER ~1350 MORE DAYS, YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO HOLD 3:25 PACE FOR THE ENTIRE 1500M AND BE THE NEW WORLD RECORD HOLDER.
REMEMBER: LOSERS FIND EXCUSES; WINNERS FIND A WAY.
While I admire your ethusiasm and agree that it is possible to achieve world records using this method, it is not the best way.
Given the countless studies I think we can all agree the #1 way to achieve any goal, any time over any distance in the sport of athletics is an undeniably settled science. Yes, of course, I am referring to the DANCAN system, brought to you by none other than the Magic Wizard himself, Coach J. STENSSON
