Also, apparently she was partying in Jamaica.

Based on her recent tweets railing against US Anti Doping, thinking its maybe a whereabouts violation.

Really is time to get real with pot/weed, it has nothing at all to do with well anything. I like my whiskey, I mix it with coke, Dr. Pepper, and as we all know alcohol is far more important than pot. But you can drink all we want, now does that make any sense at all?

If this girl likes her pot so what not big del at all. Some old guys who drink their rum, gin, whiskey making these silly rules.

Time for meets to STOP announcing her as one of the headline athletes scheduled to complete.

But until the rules are changed, Sha'Carri can either do her job, or do weed, but she can't do both. She needs to decide if her job is important enough for her to stop doing weed.

When the NIKE money dries up due to lack of competition, she’ll get after it again.

Nike contracts usually required an athlete to compete at least 10 times per year.

But Nike contracts also usually expire after the Olympics except for last year when they extended some contracts to the end of 2021 because of the Olympics being moved from 2020 to 2021.

Meaning that if I'm a lawyer at Nike, and I'm renegotiating her contract at the end of 2021, I'm going to put in a "we can cancel your contract if you get busted again at a track meet for using marijuana."

So Sha'Carri is in a tough spot. If she doesn't compete this year, Nike can end her contract. But if she competes and gets busted again for marijuana, then there's a good chance Nike will end her contract.

So what's a pro runner/pot head to do? Compete? Or not compete?

She is obviously either hurt or not ready to race against a world class field. She still has an agent and wouldn't be getting into world class events if she wasn't training seriously. No agent in the world would put their neck on the line like that if their athlete was just sitting around smoking weed and trying to be an instagram influencer.

It may take some time for Richardson to get back to racing against an international field. From the time she was in college, she was on a pretty stellar trajectory which culminated in the US trials performance. She was obviously a shadow of her US trials self when she ran Prefontaine last summer and sat out the rest of the season. That is a long time for a sprinter and even under the best conditions would take some time to get back up to top fitness. Given all the publicity and the cut throat nature of international sprints, it would be very difficult for her to run a few low key meets to bust the rust. She could end up losing out on diamond league spots. At the same time, the clock is ticking on the US trials. And if she sits out until she is ready to go against an international field, she may not be ready for the trials and may miss worlds. It is a lot of pressure for someone who is still dealing with getting kicked out of the OGs over smoking a joint.

Well according to some unverified social media reports, ShaCarri has been running 10.68 in practice. I don't buy any of it. But her fan club does.

One of 2 things:

She won't stop getting high so can't compete.

She knows the race where she came in last is where she really is and that Olympic race was a fluke. She wants people to think she is fast so won't ruin that false narrative.

On Raes take he said she probably got some work done and had gone Hollywood. I tend to believe that's what happened. She just doesn't want to train anymore and is hanging out with too many stars. It's going to be a train wreck of a come down.

What does "have a calculous test" mean, you petulant dork?

This feels like a bigger bust than “marijuana”.
I am sure the organizers would have to get confirmation before making any announcements regarding her appearance.
