My theory is that low-mileage runners can run disproportionately impressive workouts. If she was running 60mpw I doubt she could pull this one off. But if you run 20mpw you can crush workouts but the difference between that and your races is narrower.
You guys are a bunch of boobs! Exactly the kind of workout you would expect for a runner of her ability... I mean she's not going to post least impressive workout...
I feel like this workout indicates better fitness than 15:25, and certainly a pretty quick 3200. My lifetime Pr's are 9:24-32, 15:20, 31:41 and I'd have been hard pressed to run that workout off such short recoveries. I worked up to doing 5-6 X 1600 @ 4:55-5:00 with lap jog's (2:30-3:00).
If he struggles with that at 9:15, wouldn't she be capable of running faster then 9:15? And if it's such a struggle for a 9:15 runner, and she's breezing through it, then she should break 9
