Almost anybody wanting to race a fast 5/10 up to half would be better off in streak lts. The vaporfly is a better marathon shoe, but for most runners, it seems the vaporfly outperforms the streakfly at every distance as well, including the short distances it was designed for.
Nike kept hyping the vaporfly up as a low stack carbon shoe, the first of its kind. In stead they released a shoe with a stack height over 30mm that was run of the mill - plenty like it.
That said, if you already have a pair, they will work better than a trainer in races for most people, so there is that...

The Nike ZoomX Streakfly is light, very light. Lighter than any road shoe, especially one with this much softness and cushion. The Streakfly is the closest you can get to the feeling of wearing a track spike on the road.
