Imagine being a grown man and not being able to punch hard enough to elicit any response other than mild surprise with an undefended sucker punch. I don't condone punching, but if you're gonna punch, that should be an easy KO.

1) It looked more like a slap to me. Chris Rock even called it a "smack."
2) Just because an actor plays a character doesn't give him the qualities of that character. Also, that was 21 years ago.

Defintely not staged after seeing Will Smith's acceptance speech.
I didn't like how he said "Richard Williams was a fierce defender of his family." I get how he was trying to tie it into his punching Rock but the controversy surrounding King Richard was how it didn't reveal how Richard Williams basically abandoned his first family. One of the girls was walked on at age 8:
