I think this woman can possibly go sub 29 minutes on the track for 10,000 m if she puts her mind to it and possibly even sub 14 minutes for 5000 m. It is strange to think that over 5000 and 10,000 m she is of a similar speed to Yuki Kawauchi, who has achieved 2:07 in the marathon. Why is she chooses (plan for the future), not to run track is a bit of a mystery.
Interesting comparison to Yuki, I hadn't thought about that.
About her future plans (and training details, her path over the past five or so yrs, etc), would the LRC directorate hire an interpreter and interview YY for an upcoming pod? She might have a lot to say if she can speak freely.
