Yeah I think the Commanders is pretty lame. Thought Warriors is ten times better but I guess that gives too many similarities to Redskins? Idk whatever
Just tried to watch the video of their announcement and I can't stand the way these videos are edited, as with most highlight/hype videos. Way too frantic. Its like I have to apologize for NOT being ADHD. I do have the ability to focus on an unedited clip for more than a half second.

I liked redskins I thought it was super cool. Taking it down is like taking down vikings because it offends Norwegian people. Redskins were the warriors of the native americans, like the vikings were the warriors of the Norweigians. I guess redskins has a more pejorative ring than vikings, but I never attributed redskins to something bad until some rich investors complained and the lid blew off.
Totally with you about Washington Football Team sounding good, I think it's also kinda cool cuz its the nation's capital team so the basic name makes the team look more professional. Commanders is just god awful though, even generals is better than commanders. If they had to pick a name, I'd probably have gone with redhogs or warriors. Warriors is perfect because that's basically what a redskin is but it doesn't get the woke people tripping
