On the coffee club podcast, the On guys said there was something coming that we might see this weekend, but they couldn't say what. Seems like they were talking about the spikes. I also think Hoare wasn't wearing them because they aren't made in his size yet, so I think they're probably prototypes that On is testing out. On did say they wanted to work with their athletes and get feedback when making shoes, so it seems like they really meant that.

After the races, Olli and Geordie went on the Citrus Mag after-race podcast and talked a little bit about their shoes. I think they also talked to Gault after the races about them too.

Basically, On developed a super-spike prototype that the OAC athletes tested last weekend. Some runners (Monson & Beamish) felt good enough to wear them @ Millrose. Some runners (Hoare) didn't have the right fit yet for his shoe size so he didn't wear them.

On is serious about developing a competitive racing spike, but everything isn't finalized yet. Exciting to see though because the prototype sure seems to be competitive to Nikes.

Those guys were moving, but to put it in perspective, Aregawi was a full 15 seconds up on them. That is another level fast.

You really think that's all their on? Their coach ritz ran with a doped program for a few years, I would bet they all are at least on "medication" just like Ritz was with alsal.
