This is truly the biggest eye opener. It's not about personality like other people suggest. It's not just the manner in which he ran while in a weak era.
Its that his progression is so blatantly suspect.
By your reasoning, my progression is twice as suspect.
Some of you lack critical thinking skills and just post endless BS.
No one cares about your progression, hobbyjogger.
1) This place is not a respectful place. Too much Monday morning sh1t talking about almost everyone.
2) American runners or culturally white athletes get more of a benefit of doubt and a modicum of respect, presumably because LR’ers can relate better to what it takes to even be a non-podium also-ran at the world stage if the runner looks more like themselves.
Kipchoge is an exception, not the norm, when it comes to universal respect. You’ll find plenty of LR posts trashing Bekele, Cheptegai, Gidey, Hassan, Lagat and other former or current greats. For some reason, it’s consistently presumed that non-white athletes are getting away with a much bigger advantage on doping compared to their American or white counterparts because, you know, the latter are obviously innately more conscientious, hard working athletes.

Mo Fraud gets no respect because all his medals are fraudulent, won in large part thanks to having his peak coincide with the least competitive era in modern distance running. If Mo Farah's peak had been a decade earlier or later, he wouldnt have a single gold medal.
With his 3:28 speed, few runners in history, if any, could have dropped him in the 5/10K. Lasse Virin ran to win and didn't even bother trying to run fast between Olympics. Gebrselassie didn't bother with leading a race until the last lap.

doorbell mo is disrespected for two reasons:
He is a doping cheater.
He is a classless jerk.
None of the hate that the cheater mo gets is from jealousy. People love Herb Elliott and Jim Ryun and Steve Ovett and Geb. They were clean and had class.
Yeah if Mo had retired on his 28th birthday nobody would even mention him. He was not very good until he started using PEDs.
Because he adopted the tactics American distance runners train to use from the NCAA onwards, but he actually had the talent to use them to win titles, whereas US distance runners use them to finish 6th and pat themselves on the back

Who tf is Lasso Virgin? Also, the difference between Mo Fraud and Gebrselassie is that Geb set like 20 world records while Mo Bamba set none (that mattered).
the problem with Farah is that he waited 10 years longer than everybody else to get on the drugs.

You're not really a HS xc coach are you?
who trashes Bekele? People will call him out for his inconsistency and lack of work ethic, but mostly because they feel like he deprived them of something from a fan's perspective.
You don't really come across any Bekele haters, he is very highly revered.
criticism is not the same as trashing.

I am a big Farah fan. I just assume everybody is on a level playing field with the drugs. it makes the sport more enjoyable for me.

Not one human who has ever lived on earth escapes the total disrespect of LR. Prove me wrong.

Especially when brojos actively encourage the disrespect.
1) Shady coaching (Jama Aden, AlSal)
2) Faulty doorbell excuse
3) The MFing Mobot. WTF??!

does internet forum honesty preclude one from having the ability to coach youth runners?

It sounds as if your honesty may be limited to the Internet forum. I would not trust you as you admit to being dishonest.

Its because he never chased fast times and turned the diamond league into a 13:05 snooze fest everytime he raced. One of the greatest championship racers in history, but I think people dislike how he tried to slow down every single race he ran.
What the hell does this even mean he literally ran 3:28 that is the 13th fastest time ever and was like 5th all time when it happened. He would have won races if they went out at an honest pace also so why does it matter.

No, but I have long doubted your honesty and integrity.
