Steve, you will receive the coveted wanker of the year award. For your tireless efforts to post total nonsense at very regular intervals. You might be replaced by a bot in the near future, but you are a true hall of famer for garbage.

I’m not sure you’re talking to real people.
Maybe you think this because you haven’t walked into a bar or restaurant lately in a part of the country with a high percentage of vaccinations and haven’t seen most people eating or drinking without much care or worry.

I live 11 miles west of downtown Boston. This means Boston has lost me as a destination for dining and entertainment. Mayors from other cities in the area attended Wu's announcement. Wouldn't surprise me if the city where I live instituted the same rule When cities and towns in Massachusetts enact similar policies, then the drumbeat starts for a statewide law.
"Vaccines" have been available for 371 days. I have not taken one and I have had barely a sniffle in those 371 days.
My wife and I enjoy cooking and eat better at home than at any restaurant. For the price of one restaurant meal, I can make 4 or 5 meals at home that are of higher quality.
Boston's loss is my gain.
What was stopping you from cooking at home before today?
Chicken Provencal for us last night. No restaurant in the North End could top it.
Does Wu's order include outdoor sausage stands at St. Anthony's feast ?

Early data is showing that while the vaccines in general are good at preventing severe illness against Omicron, the boosted mRNA vaccines are effective at preventing infection, as well.

Actually check that, I thought this post was about the government. But Boston is doing it as a business move. As are other businesses. Public relations is key in business. By at least pretending to be concerned about covid, your business will have the approval of the majority of the public. If you rebel against the regulations as a business, you will lose business. For now, anyways. It's really an easy decision for many. Time could change things.
Are you unvaxxed and cannot enter a restaurant in the city where you live ?
YOU WIN !

Menu price inflation hit a 39-year high in November as soaring costs for labor and food led restaurants around the country to increase their charges to customers.
The food-away-from-home index rose 0.6% in November and 5.8% over the same period a year ago, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics said on Friday. That was the highest annual rate of increase for that index since 1982.
And even that undersells just how much restaurant inflation there actually is, because the index includes prices for food at schools that have fallen 45% over the past year.
Prices for limited-service restaurants, hit hardest by the labor shortage, have risen 7.9% over the past year.
Prices for full-service meals are up 6% over the past year.

Hell no. I'm vaxxed and boosted and didn't regret it for a single moment.
I only wear masks when I'm required to, like in airports. I don't know what fear you're talking about - I've run in crowded indoor track meets, visited 8 states this year, been to restaurants and bars, and never gave any of it a second thought.
And BTW, I didn't vote for Biden.

Then why are you worried about an unvaccinated person infecting you?
Also, shouldn't you be required to show a booster card, not just a vaccine card?

A driver with a 0.08 BAC is about seven times as likely to be involved in a fatal car crash compared to a sober driver.
You not understanding the analogy doesn’t impact its veracity.
So what if you get Covid?
To be fair, they should then require vaccines for flu, mmr, etc.
I makes me happy when an anti-vaxxers life is made less convenient. You are the reason we have to keep wearing masks/shutting things down, etc... These restrictions are only going to get worse, so get used to it. Business don't want to keep shutting down, to have disrupted supply chains, no staff, and on and on. Its a nightmare for them.
For the record, I'm all for your freedom. I am happy to remove all restrictions and let covid run its course. Your health is not my business. Don't expect me to feel bad if you sick though. I'm being 100% selfish in this regard, the same way you are.
I'm triple vaxxed and pro-vaxx, for the disease severity reduction vaccines offer. But it's become blatantly obvious the vaccines don't stop, or even slow very much, the spread of COVID, even in places that are 90+% vaxxed. I'm not sure what they're trying to accomplish by continuing a hard line to control something that's uncontrollable. As someone who's pro-vax, I'm starting to wonder if there is some truth to those who say there are ulterior motives at play. There's absolutely no excuse for life not being back to normal, everywhere, at this point. None. Anyone still under "lockdowns" or other hardline measures 2 years into this, has every right to complain.

https://www.bitchute.com/video/WSEp66WHuyVm/...and it doesn't even replace the mask mandate. Completely f***ing stupid.

It’s the same reason basic childhood vaccinations have been required for school attendance for decades.
A Driver dangers more people than a non Driver

1. Very small % of Covid cases are severe. Particularly omicron it seems. Not sure I believe the jab lessens severity. The original claim was the jab stopped transmission (remember 95% efficacy?). That later morphed to the claim is lessens severity. Not sure that's true.
2. Good on you that you seem willing to change your view in response to new developments.
