no one lives the mantra "dont take yourself too seriously" better then Molly. and we are all better for it.

I laughed at that video. The juxtaposition is perfection.

She's fantastic for this sport. She's easily the most entertaining runner out there.

And just for the record, professional running IS entertainment. Puma is killing it with her.

I was there too. It was pretty awesome to see her show up ... turkey trots don't get any better than this. The announcer made some jokes too, so even people back in the crowd knew she was there. The clip was grabbed not long before the gun.

They just look cold to me, nobody looks uncomfortable by her dancing.

I agree, unless not dancing is the standard for being uptight.

Agree with all of this, and it seems like Puma has hit a gold mine. Ok, I get that that's a huge exaggeration in many respects since specialty running shoes are a tiny fraction of their business, but I think she almost single-handedly has driven interest in the brand in the running community and the word-of-mouth and trickle-down effect as they rebuild their brand as a running shoe company is invaluable imo. I got swept up in it myself and picked up a pair of the Nitro Elites, and that was solely because of Molly. It's the same as Skechers: I don't think anyone would have dreamed of taking Skechers seriously until Meb wore them, and Puma is in the same boat with Molly though has less baggage and less of an uphill climb than Skechers did. The product ultimately needs to be good, but there are so many choices and Molly has put Puma back into the conversation. The perfect example of what a spokesperson can do for a brand!

as one of the uptight guys in this video, I didn't recognize her until later but before that, I lectured her on how she needs to do high mileage and how its the key to racing marathons

Wow, is that some runner-friendly suit material? Wouldn’t she be sweating like a pig wearing that and running a 35’ 10K?

It was no speed suit but it looked pretty chintzy + it was around 30 & windy and snowing, so that may have helped a little.
