Can someone give me a link to the entries? I did some Googling and could only find info from last year.
NAZ has a preview with the meet entries, etc.

I really really wish OAC was running this. Put them in and they sweep easily. SO many good young xc runners and they seem to have fantastic chemistry. Seeing them at Sound XC is gonna be awesome.
Agreed all around.

Youve both got me curious. Who would OAC have to match up to kincaid, fisher, cranny, frerichs, Fraser, and Ratcliffe to “sweep easily”?
I think the event is a great idea for the sport, btw.
OAC only have one American on the mens side of things so they wouldn’t be able to compete unless they changed the rules. On the women’s side of things you could say Falland would match up well against Cranny or Fraser then Monson and Frerich’s would be a fun matchup but they lack an American 3rd leg that can compete with BTC IMO

Yeah I think OAC would solidly be the second best team, but BTC has two 13 flat, 27:10ish guys, Cranny who's a better version of Monson, and Frerichs who's a better version of Fallon. Ratcliffe the "weak link" can certainly hold his own over 5k too.
I don't see how BTC doesn't clean up unless they're really out of shape or not trying that hard for whatever reason.
Just curious, is there a course map somewhere?
I just see there is $50,000 in prize money. Anyone know where that is coming from?
And on paper Bowerman should crush this is my thinking.

Unless Jorgenson is anchoring.
A previous thread said some of it is directly coming from the Hansons, but I don't know where that info came from.

I read that that there is $50,000 in prize money. With 6 teams entered where is the prize purse coming from?
Funded by the Hansons. Generous benefactors of our sport.
Could see BTC jogging this and then posting about how much fun they are.

Kudos to the Hansons! Hopefully, it will be successful and expanded to other areas of the US and additional teams. If I recall, Xerox had tried to start a similar series in the early 80's. I recall a race in NY's Central Park. There might even have been another attempt in the late 80's, again run in Manhattan. Prize money is key.

Hansons Running Shop
So you have to do a one month subscription of $12 to watch this one race. I hate how most of our races are like this. They are covered by random assortments of websites that all have a subscription fee. They need to switch to a pay-per-view system. Some of the track meets last year finally did that, like the Sound Running races and Portland Track Festival. Those were like $5 to watch the whole track meet, more reasonable than $12 or more for a full month subscription to some site that you don't otherwise care about. If RunnerSpace had a $5 option to watch this race I'd pay it, but I'm not going to pay $12. Will $12 break the bank? No it won't, but it's out of principle that viewing something one time on your computer shouldn't be more than a few dollars. I can rent a movie online from google for a few dollars, this is basically the same thing. For $12 I can some full feature films or at least half of a feature film. I won't own a copy of this race for that amount.
Are there live results somewhere? With each leg's split times?

The Hansons shell out 50k in prize money and you can't drop $12 to watch the race. Support our sport or cry about it. Or by the monthly trial and watch several of the regionals that happened last weekend.
How hard is it to buy a gimbal?

Is RunnerSpace paying prize money for this race? Is RunnerSpace funding anything? No they're not, they're a company making money from these athletes racing. Give me a real reason why I should pay RunnerSpace $12

Because it is the only option to watch the event live?
