Past performance doesn't necessarily determine future performance. He ran a 3:53 high, mile last week and people on here think he's going to run a 10 sec + PR.

“Loaded” - got that right.

Eh first of all his PR is from 2017, when his 5000 PR was 13:01. Second, in addition to his one bad race, he also got an Olympic silver over Chelimo (7:31), Kimeli (7:31), Kiplimo (7:26), Balew (7:33), Katir (7:27), et al.
He's due for a 7:30, give or take a second.

Coming off a 10k, 5k heats and 5k finals with long travel and accompanying jetlag a 353 mile can be excused. Winning time will be 7:30+ but Moh is good for a top 3 finish here.

It probably will be. But WTF it isn't in the broadcast window????????? SERIOUSLY?????????
where are you seeing the actual startlists?
When I click the link, it just brings me to the "Results" in which there is nothing listed
Believe it or not, there is a LetsRun homepage that lists everything.

Word! Moh is a 10 km guy - a 3:53 mile is pretty decent for him. Tough crowd here at LR.
Predictions:
1. Jakob Ingebrigtsen 7:25.2 AR
2. Selemon Barega 7:26.0
3. Stewart McSweyn 7:26.9 AR
4. Jacob Kiplimo 7:28.7
5. Nicholas Kimeli 7:29.8
6. Paul Chelimo 7:32.3
7. Mohammed Ahmed 7:33.6
8. Jacob Krop 7:33.7
9. Lamecha Girma 7:33.9
10. Birhanu Balew 7:34.9
11. Berihu Aregawi 7:35.0
12. Abel Kipsang 7:37.4
13. Muktar Edris 7:46.0
14. Jonas Raess 7:49.9
Filip Ingebrigtsen DNF
Right on 4:59 at 2K for the top guys. McSweyn leads the penultimate lap in 59.0, (6:28.0 at the bell); Jakob once again take over with 250 to go and Barega follows but doesn’t seriously challenge, losing a few meters in the homestretch. Chelimo tries to hang with the lead and grits out a 2:32 final K, while Ahmed hangs back through 2k and closes well for a fine PR, albeit 3-5 seconds off what he’s capable of on his best days. Strong but not spectacular performance for Kiplimo in 4th. Filip runs 3:47 through 1500 and steps off the track; Edris is off the back early, clearly not in top form.
Scratch Jacob . . . add Grant.

If this happens I'm naming my first born Wesley as a tribute.
Winning time will be 7:27
Hocker should be in this.

With McSweyn and Jakob in the race, little risk that this will dawdle...Maybe we'll get low 7:20s.
Word is Stewy's coach, Nic Bideau, has been working on his finishing speed (he reads the LR threads lol), so flat out from the gun for Stewy with a super fast last 200.
So yeah, expect big things, very low 7:20s could be on.

As mentioned, LRC has a page with all of the entries listed. It's here:
https://www.letsrun.com/news/2021/08/schedule-entries-results-for-2021-athletissima-lausanne-diamond-league/Seeing a 7:28-7:30.5 for Moh, bank it.

Looks like Grant, Wale and Butchart have been added to the field.

I was pretty sure Fisher would as his Instagram page had him over there with Moh. I say Jakob in 7:27. Mo 7:29. MCSweyn 7:28.5. Chelimo 7:29. Barega 7:28 low. Fisher 7:31.5

I don’t see it that fast. These guys will be tired coming from Oregon a few days earlier but I could be wrong. I say Jakob in7:27.55
