Likely a subconscious phobia of not being able to relate to less attractive people that manifests itself in extreme niggles which are deterring her from steeple greatness.

She wants to win races, make money and not be injured. It takes confidence to be a great runner. I like confident runners. Some
People think think it’s a bad attitude. Difference of opinion.

Nerve damage in leg most likely. Possibly similar to Josh McDougal.
This is exactly what I came to write — watching some videos that she posted of herself running going over hurdles, they scream of the “loss of coordination in leg” thread. She looks like she’s running in mud. If we’re speculating, I think it’s over for her as a competitive runner.
I can’t imagine what the other steeplers were thinking when they heard the “two time Olympian” quote. Just painful, narcissistic behavior.
If it started in March 2021, then no reason that she won't be healthy with a few months off and rehab exercises. Loss of coordination in the leg sounds like something related to piriformis syndrome where the muscles are impinging on the nerves and there is a range of exercises that help, such as single leg squats and shifting the muscle around to loosen it by sitting on a hard surface like a concrete step and shifting your weight around, but the one exercise that solved this lack of coordination in the leg for me (and which wasn't improving with time off) was single leg arches. Facing up, you support all of your weight on one foot (bending that knee) and one side of your shoulders, arching your torso up and lifting your other foot above the down leg. A few of those a day should fix it within a week and you should feel the difference immediately.

Look, you can say whatever you want about other things - her instagram is annoying, she jumps on every popular social justice trend like a rootless leech, she clearly pulled out of the trials because she knew she wouldn't make the team and wanted to protect her "brand", etc.
But Colleen is hot.
lol the most infuriating part of that thread was people being like "just do a jump squat/lunge/whatever and u will be cured"
honestly i doubt they even had the full loss of coordination probably just isolated muscle weakness

Is she were that hot she would have more than 250k instagram followers.
This is surprisingly few.
Alica Schmidt is an extra for the mediocre German 4x4 and has 2.5 Million followers...
Which thread? This thread? Exercises that target the right muscles actually work immediately in many cases.
She has a supratentorial condition
Amen! But I think that ship has sailed and the 1500/ mile has gotten a lot more competitive in the US. She has had injury issues since FSU and worsened her situation by signing with a high volume program. It may be nerve damage but for somebody that shares for content this injury has been very vague.
Really? I don't consider her cute. She's very attractive in a monay. Sort of way. But cute nah.
the loss of coordination in leg, it's a million pages for a reason. maybe they work in some cases but for many people they do not. (and i personally think that people who are "cured" by one or two exercises did not actually have true loss of coordination, just weakness. there is a significant difference between the two.)
piriformis syndrome can prevent signals from reaching the glutes at all depending of the extent of sciatic nerve impingement, so it isn't as simple as "just activate them" if you physically cannot activate them...
i would imagine with her access to the best PTs, etc, strengthening would have been one of the first things tried

If anything, she should move DOWN in distance.
She’s clearly struggled with high-mileage training and has a national championship in the mile.
With Houlihan out of the picture, there’s a clearer path to global teams relative to injury potential in the mile/1500 than the steeple.
I agree with this. She's done pretty well in the 1500/mile.
And yeah, results don't really matter for an influencer, but if you aren't running and competing, then why do we care? Honestly.
I notice that on IG--there's a lot of slower people bringing in the likes/comments vs. some people with fast times who might get 100-200 likes/comments.
I see that on Facebook running groups. One group I'm in has a few fast people but they don't get as many likes as others. FB's algorithm rewards certain users, I think.

I've noticed that physically attractive people (male and female) are supremely confident. Are they confident because of their natural photogenic qualities from a young age? Granted there are some physically attractive people who struggle with self-confidence but I've noticed a lot of attractive people are usually outgoing as well and gifted in social situations.

Of course they are. People of all ages and especially younger people and kids gravitate to those that are attractive. They simply get more opportunities to talk to others and learn to socialize. Quigley wanted more money of course but being in BTC meant that her needs as an athlete were not the priority. When you've been in a program like that for so long and have had so many injuries and inconsistent performances it only makes sense to go in a different direction.
Hey. She’s apparently made it even if not competing anymore if she has a LetsRun thread named after her. Mission accomplished
Guys, she has the twisties! It's a serios thing. She could trip and fall over the hurdles. She needs to quit until the twisties go away. She's so brave to pull put of the trials.
