70-75 mpw, sleep about 7 hours per night, though I usually sneak a nap in after lunch for about a half hour.
WOW . . . thanks for all the responses. This board kicks ass.
About 50 MPW and 8 hrs. I'd like to get a nap in also but rarely do.
You might consider if there's a correlation with injury or age as well. There's a lot of variation in the sample if you're just looking at MPW and hrs of sleep.
22 yrs/female: run about 50 mpw, sleep 6 hours-work 70+ hours per week-go to grad school full time-look forward to running and sleeping more soon....
About 55 mpw and 6 hrs/night, though I need more.
65 MPW average last 12 weeks, average 8.5 hours of sleep a night.
Close to 40 mpw and sleeping 7.5 hours a night during the week, maybe 8.5 to 9 on weekends.
6-7/hpn
65-70/mpw
When I go above 70 I need another hour or more.
Wow, you make 100 look so easy, at least on paper. Don't think sub 2:40 is in the works - maybe sub 2:50 like yourself. Actually will try for a 2:45, have not put in the miles like you have. Good to hear family is doing great. I will see you soon, probably at Mudbug!
75-88 mpw
7-71/2 if im lucky. getting enough sleep is more difficult than putting in the miles.
~100 and ~9... sleep is so underrated...
70-100+ A week and 7-9 hrs sleep
75mpw and a consistent 8-1/2hrs per night at age 50+
i get almost 100 miles a week, with 8 hours sleep (9:30-5:30), 8 isnt enough though, cuz when i dont need to get up i'll sleep 10-11 hours
70-75mpw. 10 hours of sleep a night.
55-65 mpw, 6.5-7 hrs/night
running 50 a week and sleeping 7 1/2. hoping to start hitting 60 miles and adding a 90 min. nap every afternoon
115-125 mpw, 6.5 hours sleep. On average.
This is during normal marathon training. When I'm gearing up for some 5ks I'll do 90-110. I'm in marathon taper now so I'll be at 90 or below until Boston (and for a few weeks thereafter)
60mpw 6-7hrs on avg....need more...consistency is the problem...tough on the body doing 4-5 some nights and 7-8 others.
