No, not really. While that is the official 20k best, sure. The world half-marathon record of 57:32, is 54:30 pace for 20k (but run for longer). 20k is just not run as an official distance that often.

With how he raced at MGC, I don't rate his chances of racing well in warm weather anywhere near that high. Top 10 would be a great day for him.

Seemed like a good tuneup for the marathon, with minimal recovery needed. Still don’t understand why anyone would run a half as a marathon as tuneup. Big difference in recovery time.
