Please name them? Running in the wind teaches your body to work hard and run slow. I understand it unavoidable sometimes, but there are no actual benefits.

She also won the Mount Marathon race about 7 or 8 times including her years in the junior race. That is a race where the prevailing opinion is if you reach the finish line without some blood on you then you didn't run hard enough. But enjoy your 400-meter Mondo track surface.
Why is she whining about the wind if she is so tough?
Because she weighs like 80 pounds? She doesn't have a lot of mass to power through it. It can't be fun for her.

Guys, you're not getting it. This is a promotional video for Allie O and for Brooks (see the final minutes). She's got to show some of her personality here. She's not really going to be complaining seriously about wind -- in Seattle -- when she was raised in Alaska and ran at Boise State... She's got to keep it lively, build a little tension. Can't just say "I ran my 20 x 400 meters and went home..." Got to add a bit of local color. Don't you see how the story builds? Does her workout, visits doctor and physiotherapist, then goes home and finds the elves have left her the very best (Brooks) shoes and running bras. Now is super happy as she shows them to us. All the wind was worth it.

Exactly, they all got blown around in Boston 2018 and an American woman and a Japanese man won.
Allie seems to have a sarcastic, self deprecating sense of humor. I wouldn’t say she was complaining about the wind and is therefore soft. She said it is the worst weather and makes al other weather worse. I think most runners would agree with that.

Just how much of her privileged whiny brattitude do you expect us to put up with?
The best young runners I know don't walk around with a selfie stick vocalising self obsession. They let their legs do the talking.
I feel like it’s pretty normal to complain about running in the wind. It sucks to run into and makes your times slower, even if you should be going off of effort it is hard to gauge in the wind.
If she can stay Healthy, I think she could be a good Marathon runner..........~ 2:25. Not sure she is fast enough on the World scene for the 5000M or 10000M.
How is she fast enough to run 2:25?
lol. first time watching her in a vid. i like her. and what's worse than wind? I completely agree on that.

If she is a strength runner versus speed oriented, she can run 5:09 pace for 10k, 2:25 is 5:32 pace, that is a differential of 23 seconds per mile, very doable......if she can stay healthy
Nah, she was on a public school track, but she's not supposed to be on it while school is in session.
Stand her next to an elite sprinter and ask 10 random people walking by which one of the two is a strength runner.

To those who are criticizing her, give me a break. How many of you actually like running into the wind while doing a track workout? Anyone?? What do you want her to talk about? If you are bored with this kind of thing, no one is forcing you to watch.
