It's not weird to call the guy a racist, I think the point is that society is well-aware that racism is the "click-bait" media word to draw in viewers, rather than truly mourn what has happened. There is not a single person defending it, it's just that people are quicker to jump on the tweeting bandwagon against racism to promote their own virtues, rather than truly care about the people that died and how truly awful the situation is. Maybe this guy is an independent POS, so let's mourn that situation first before turning it to an issue that America has against Asian-Americans.
