I get the sense no one on the team likes her, and she is always injured or mucks it up when it counts, e.g., world competitions. Marisa Howard isn't owed a spot on a team as an alternate, but that whole business was just gross on the part of Colleen when she knew very well she couldn't compete in 2019 Worlds.

Courtney has been improving her flat times (under 15 in the 5k) and already has a Worlds silver plus the American record in the steeple as a professional. Sheesh.

Anyway, Colleen will be fine. After all, she used to be a model, didn't you hear? She can always fall back on that.

She ran a 8:28 or something close to that flat 3k last winter at the BU bouncy track.

Can you provide further evidence to your point that « no one on the team likes her? » and what you imply by your extremely objectifying and sexist comment targeting her physical appearance as a model? Would you not also value her intelligence as a worthy asset to rely upon following her running career?

i will never understand the notion that none of the women on the team like her because when she joined the team the only women there were shalane and emily so all the new women in the past years have known what they’re in for

Frerichs signed an extension in February 2020 right before the pandemic. Quigley wanted a minimum of what frerichs got after the pandemic had hit. Nike said no and referenced frerichs accomplishments and the current situation with covid. Quigley had already been dropped by Kimbia after a dispute over the mamba 5 structuring(it had Frerichs signature in the insole). This was the last straw for Nike and quigley is gone.

Not that social media is everything but sometimes it says a lot. I follow most all of the BTC women and find it interesting that Emily Infeld does not follow Colleen, but follows everyone else. Also she doesn’t ever seem get likes from her teammates on her pictures (I noticed this because if you follow mutual people, it shows that). All of that kind of gave me the impression as well that she wasn’t the most liked.

Gwen Jorgensen posted a team photo to her stories last week. Vanessa Fraser, Marielle Hall and Colleen Quigley were not in the photo.but Gwen tagged Vanessa and Marielle anyway, but not Colleen.

Something a bit off on the BTC website. On the roster page all athletes are listed alphabetically, except... Quigley who is listed last. Even newcomers like Debues-Stafford are listed alphabetically. Seems odd, almost negging
