I saw tear gas and bullets used at the capitol, and I saw cops stand back and do nothing during riots this summer. Guess we saw different pictures.

One of my New Year's resolution was to pick up a gps watch and open a Strava account. It was something about being part of a *neutral* social-network platform of similar-interested people that was the draw. To me, it seemed like an early-facebook network, when it was only college kids and the rules were loose and there was no political undertones. Having read this, I see now that that is not the case with Strava.
Unlike my history of wearing Saucony (though no longer), my *potential* Strava account will never be opened because of this letter.
Strava: not going to subscribe, you lost a potential customer.

Why in the hell does a company need to denounce a riot on the US capitol? I mean isn't it obvious that 99% of the people are against that - even those who had questions about the election.
But for some reason, companies now want to virtue signal.
As a result, it's exhausting to just try to go about your normal day now. Someone can't even go to a sporting event anymore and just enjoy as they are now forced to make some sort of political statement one way or the other when the damn national anthem is played . Your best bet is to head to show up later or head to the bathroom when it's played or you are going to piss someone off.
My neighbor is French. He recently put a BLM sign out in the yard. When he saw me, he smiled proudly and said something now along the lines of, "We are playing American now." I said, "What do you mean?" He said, "In france you would never put a sign in your yard like this or for who you are voting for. Here you are expected to do it."

Dude, if you don't want to read this, just don't read the Strava blog. You can use the app/website for tracking your training 24/7/365 without ever seeing the Strava blog. Until you posted it, I didn't know it existed.
Also, the only reason apps like Strava have blogs ISN'T to communicate with the "community." It's to drive clicks and pick up new users. So the CEO and marketing department are probably convinced that there are more new customers to be found among SJWs than among old dudes with hurt feelings. They're probably right.

That political statement is absurd. The people who rioted in the Capital were wrong and should be punished. However, there is absolutely l comparison between that riot and the hundreds of BLM and Antifa riots over the summer in terms of damage to the country or the level of violence. The BLM/Antifa riots caused over $1 billion in property damage, resulted in hundreds of injured police officers, as well as at least 23 murders. Anyone who claims that the BLM/Antifa riots were “peaceful” is living in some sort of alternative reality.

Of course there was a difference in the way they were treated. All summer, very few were arrested and if they were prosecutors dropped charges. The January 6, rioters were quickly identified, arrested and there are no signs of charges being dropped.

Nice common sense post. Black protesters are met with violence. White domestic terrorists get to roam the halls of the Capitol. It's not a revelation to recognize disparate treatment in America, something that has always existed by gender and race.

Yes, we do. The problem is that only one voice and opinion (the Left) is being allowed to be heard. Social Media and the Main Stream Media have been silencing opinions of the Right, an the past year have gotten more and more aggressive about it. Companies that post this SJW crap do nothing but alienate half of their customers and create an even bigger divide.

This is demonstrably false. Police in Minneapolis abandoned a police station and allowed BLM rioters to burn it down. Police in Portland were instructed to let the riots continue... same story in other cities. There was no FBI to quickly identify and arrest those rioters. And when a few were arrested, they were promptly bailed out of jail by Democrat politicians and Hollywood stars.
