at the start of sundoger last sat. some guy got his heel stepped on so he just kicked his shoe off. the funny thing is that when he kicked it off it hit some little kid watching square in the gut. almost knocked him over.
yea, if the course is just grass just go without it. But if there are rocks or mud then put it on, the rocks could end your season and you just won't get ANY grip in the mud without spikes.
Have you tried running with one shoe? It's difficult. It will slow you down. It may take you no more than 5-10 seconds to stop and retie your shoe. So, you lose 5-10 seconds at one time compared to say 5-10 seconds per mile. Stop and retie your shoe.
