Meb Keflezighi Runs PR 61:00 In Rock 'n' Roll San Jose Half Marathon

Preparing for the ING New York City Marathon on November 1, US Olympic Marathon medalist Meb Keflezighi ran a lifetime best for the half-marathon in San Jose. Winning by over two minutes over Bolota Asmerom, Keflezighi improved his half-marathon personal best by 25 seconds. Earlier this year he ran 61:25 in Houston and in 2006 he ran 61:28 in the New York City Half Marathon.

In the women's race Magdalena Lewy Boulet set a 1-second PB (71:46) in a narrow loss to Belainesh Gebre (71:24).
