Runners seem to age in the face too quickly. Apart from sunscreen (or sun avoidance in general), is there anything that can be actively done to prevent it or reverse it?

Run before dawn. Also, wear sunglasses. Notice that Jared Ward still looks super fly even though he’s over 30. It’s all because of the shades.
He also definitely meets the LetsRun Trifecta ?
Besides the sun exposure, I think that a lot of it has to do with the low bodyfat. So, if you want to keep running fast, I don't think there's much you can do about it.
Over 30 is not old. The problem doesn’t occur that much over 30. Over 40 - now that’s a different story.
I too frequently walking around with my undergrad Linear Models textbook. Really lightens up all the photos that get taken.
Should be using this anyway, but here goes ...
When you shower, wash your face and neck with Clinique Face Soap (about $12).
Shave in the shower to keep moisture in.
Follow the shower up with Clinique Exfoliating Tonic (about $14.50).
Then moisturize with the product of your choice (I like Clinique Broad Spectrum SPF 21 Moisturizer - about $27).
The soap should last at least 6 months if not longer. The Tonic probably lasts 3-4 months if you use it twice a day like they tell you. The moisturizer I use sparingly, but it should also last 3-4 months for the average person. So probably ~$100-150 a year.
I used sunscreen heavily for 40+ years and it seems to have paid off. Also wearing hats and sunglasses. Since I switched to low carb/high fat diet, I rarely have to use sunscreen despite being out in a lot, I just get a nice tan and clear wrinkle-free skin. Eating whoel pastured eggs and meats, huge salads of mixed greens, avocados, olive oil, coconut oil are all great for skin health. Avoid starchy food, sugar, and especially vegetable oils.

Huh?? By your logic, isn't the answer to prevent bodyfat from being too low?
We need to spend more time analyzing the photo of Ward upthread

Explain the mechanism behind this.

What trifecta? He hasn’t even broken 2:10 for the marathon. Weak.
Run a lot and eat a lot of meat and potatoes.
You need to try some of my moisturizer. I give the best facials.

Any advice for a straight man?

This is the real reason for the haters. :)
Knew a black guy around 90 and still working with his family part time. No way I would have guessed over 60 at best, maybe 50 something.

Can't you people do a 3 second google search to find out that Jared is only 29?

Myth. Plenty of Black people look well over their age.
You've never seen a whole passel of old black dudes with shades, hats and canes cackling and saying "Ha!" after every three words? With those deep lines etched from cheek to corner of the mouth?
Ha! Damn! Those guys look as old AF and they are probably all about 60.
