Hi. I am a beginner in running. I wonder if it is physically possible to train for a 10K just in three months. I like doing some fitness (cardio, hiit, strenght training at home) and decided to start running. I found a 10K event in my hometown beginning of May and I really would like to participate, but I am not sure, is it realistic aiming to complete this race ?
I downloaded two apps - one "from couch to 5K in nine weeks" and the other one "from 5K to 10K in nine weeks" - both three runs per week. If I do one run every other day I could complete these programs by the beginning of May.
What do you think? Do you have any advice?
