Doping in Rotich's Santa Fe training group?

Haven't some other EPO users been known to train in the Santa Fe area?

Doper, Jynocel Basweti, also at one time trained with/was coached by Bolton with the AmeriKenyans. He then moved to having Russian agent (Hebron, KY), Larisa Mikhaylova, who was his agent when he was finally busted.

"Basweti, who finished fourth here last year, claimed his fourth marathon victory in 2010 on Saturday. He has been training in New Mexico with the AmeriKenyan Running Club and is coached by 2000 U.S. Olympic triathlete Ryan Bolton."

Yes and in the rest of the United States, plus 100 percent of them have posted on Letsrun.

We need to ban everyone from the USA, and everyone who posts on Letsrun.

Her agent in 2012 was Isaya Okwiya, (who is now part of Riadha in DC). Not sure if he is still her agent or if her camp in Sante Fe arranges that.

Went to HS in Japan (same as Wanjiru), came to the US in 2006 after her first marathon (11th place in Nairobi, no time that I can find but slower than the 10th place finisher in 2:48:30.) Joined Bolton's group in 2009 when her PR was 74:40 in the half. . A year later she ran 70:24 and 2:29 (current PR is 69:09, 2:23)

Also, this is pissing me off: Mutinda\'s ban is from 2/16/2014 to 2/15/2017. But, after is positive at the Austin marathon in \'14. USADA announced today that Joseph Mutinda, a Kenyan athlete in the sport of track & field, who has trained in Santa Fe, N.M. for the past several years, has admitted to the use of various prohibited substances and accepted a three-year sanction for his doping offenses.

Mutinda’s period of ineligibility began on February 16, 2014, the date his first sample was collected at the Austin Marathon. Mutinda finished first in the 2014 Austin Marathon and his result from that competition is disqualified. In addition, Mutinda has been disqualified from all other competitive results obtained on and subsequent to December 15, 2013, the date from which records show he was first administered EPO, including forfeiture of any medals, points and prizes.

He raced during that time, including a 2:17 in Hong Kong, winning a $6000 Masters 1st place prize. WTF?

I want to know if he paid that $6000 back, or if it\'s sitting in the coffers of Ryan Bolton in Sante Fe

Except that he should have been ineligible. These backdated bans are worthless, because the doper is playing a role in the development of the race. Further, after you give out the prize money, it becomes so much harder to get it back.

Albuquerque was a hotbed a few years back. There haven't been many Santa Fe training groups and don't recall any with a recent drug history there.

$2000 at Woodlands Marathon (March)

$1500 in Pittsburgh Marathon (May),

8000 MYR ($2250) in a Marathon in Malaysia (November)

Anyone have any contact info for Woodlands and Pittsburgh? I'm curious if they have gotten the money back.

Further, USADA said he forfeits results and prizes since December 15, in which he was entered in the Dallas marathon, cancelled due to weather.

What were his exact blood levels of the nandrolone metabolites?

Thank you for your suggestion. Given that Road Racing is my business, I will continue to stay updated on the sport, make sure everyone else in the sport is up to date as well, and work to make sure that integrity in this business is upheld..

Bottom Line is these B, C Kenyan training groups based in the U.S need to be banned and sent back to there Countries. They Do US AMERICANS no GOOD. And people say, Performance Enhancing Drugs don't work on Kenyans ....WTF....read the News Idiotic Morons!
