I have been running competitively since 1990 and was a bike racer before that. So lots of years on these legs.
I don't normally take too much time off but was forced to take 4 full months last summer.
I have only got back to running about 4 days a week on average this year and once again my legs are trashed.
Has anyone else experienced this and were you able to overcome it?
Did it force you to quit racing?
