And it was live streaming on KTN.
He is incredible. It's a testament to his dominance that every other 800 runner seems mystified/intimidated by him as well, the guy's practically untouchable. I think he goes 1:40.5 this year
World Best maybe
The term World Record just can't be thrown around like that.
Nice run

They say he led from start to finish...no one is going to beat him in London unless he does something wrong.
He's just as dominant at 800 meters now as Hicham El Guerrouj was at 1500 meters during his day. Why are all these morons on here accusing El G of doping but not Rudisha? Are there that many Kenyans on letsrun?
What happened to Keitany, Choge, Kipchoge?? All out of the Olympics?
Video?
Yeah...and Timothy Kitum's 1:43.96 at altitude isn't exactly Hay either
FYI - the 800 isn't considered an altitude-affected event. It's considered a "tweener", where runners are neither advantaged (as in sprints) or disadvantaged.
So Linet Masai failed to make the 5000m and 10000m teams??
How many top Kenyans have been busted v. how many top Marocs? And where are all the Marocs now that testing is half-way effective? That said, altitude has no effect (on Kenyans especially) for the 800, so this is just another ho-hum 1:42 for the Big DR.

AK would be wise to select Konsecha (sp?) for the wild card.
Paul Koech better get the frickin wild card for the steeplechase after running the 3rd best time ever this year.

If you can't figure this out for yourself you're an idiot
Actually since testing became more stringent, only East Africans, some Europeans and Americans (Caribs included) have been dominating the track. So fill in the blanks dude. Lets celebrate the sport and look forward to the Olympics.
