Over the last week, I've noticed that whenever I go to a story link off a main page at the cbssports.com website (which I've become accustomed to using for general sports news and analysis), the story page will come up for a few seconds and then kick over to a blank page with a long add-on to the URL that begins with fb_xd_fragment#
By googling fb_xd_fragment#, I've discovered that it seems to be a facebook like button glitch issue, but the solutions offered are from the perspective of the website operator, not the user.
I can't access cbs's "help center" because that page itself also kicks over to the blank error page.
I also just noticed the problem come up with a news link I tried to access through google news that had nothing to do with the cbs site.
I don't see any indication through google that this is a "trending" issue where other people are noticing the problem recently. The tech solutions offered to website operators are many months old.
Any insight appreciated. I'm thinking that if everyone accessing the cbs site was having this problem, they would have noticed by now, but maybe not.
