Do you calculate this based on a 1/2 marathon run with a quality taper or one during a normal marathon training week without a taper?
In my case, I backed off the day before and did an easy 5mi, but the rest of the week was a standard high mileage week in my training cycle with a long run 7 days prior and workout 3 days before. I was about 8 weeks out from my marathon and ran 1:17. I'm guessing that means I might be able to run a 2:43-2:44. However, with a solid taper I think 1:15 would be reasonable. The legs felt fairly heavy the whole time.
