I feel bad for the guy, the focus of his season, gone in a freak disaster.

I feel bad for the human lives that are gone due to this freak disaster.
Honestly who cares, people died as in not rigging at the end of race, DIED. Racing is a distant 3rd in priority here.
any word on webb's where abouts??
This 3K is going to feel like a sprint for Rupp.
damn, I was looking forward to this race.
I wonder if Salazar will design a workout around this race to simulate the effort he would have expended over 10,000m in Christchurch. The altitude factor might make that difficult.

It better, because Lagat is also in it.
if lagat and rupp run we all know whats going to happen...
slow tactical race, everyone there til 400 to go
rupp and lagat drop the shit out of everyone at this point
then with 200 to go lagat blows pass rupp and rupp hangs on for second about a second behind lagat
winning time around 8:05-15
LOL. Really? A 10K in February was the focus of his season?

Yes? Do you live in a hole? The 10k was to be the culmination of his indoor season. He then will take 2 weeks off and rebuild for the world championships. 2 distinct seasons. Think before you speak.
The "two distinct seasons" thing is more of a training concept that Salazar is employing. Yeah, there is an indoor season and then an outdoor. But I think in general for the common fan a season is the entire year and that is how you should be using the word. Sure, its unfortunate that this race will not be run. But to feel bad for Rupp is ridiculous. He doesn't feel that bad about it so you shouldn't either.
No. A season is that season. Such as the cross country season, indoor season and outdoor season. In college they have 2 or 3 defined seasons. The pros usually just have one. Galen is essentially doing the college style.
Why wouldn't he feel bad about it? He has spent months preparing for that day, after narrowly missing out in the record a year ago. He then flew 20 hours, only to arrive and have it taken away, all that training wasted.
Do you think Salazar and Rupp have ever made out?
Webb is in Wellington, New Zealand. Racing Saturday at a charity meet along with Willis, Leer, Emanuel, Bethke.

Becuase it's just a race, it matters so little in the grand scheme of things. Grab a PBR and chill my man, you sound like an narcassistic asshole.
