Solinsky just ran a solid 10K and Bolt has the WR at 200m. If we split the distance and made a 5100m race, who would win?
Based on the split difference race between MJ and Donovan Bailey, it looks like the shorter distance specialist has the advantage, but that may have only been because MJ tore a hammy that do. For this hypothetical race, we would assume neither would get injured during it.
To try to even things up, Bolt is used to one turn and Solinsky is used to 50 turns during a race. It would need to be done on a customized 800m track, so there are 25 turns to equal things out.
We can also assume Rupp could be a rabbit and take them through about 4900m.
What predictions would you have for this?
