What will be the next record broken? 5k this year by Lagat, Teg, Ritz, Solinsky, or Rupp? 1500? Marathon? 800?
I think this year the 5k will fall. I think Hall will get the marathon and Symmonds will get the 800 in the next couple years.

Not unless Wendy's changes the numbers to their combo's.
5k and 3k. not a lot of opportunities for the 10k, maybe one serious one in Europe this year. steeple will also be under threat, even if solinsky now doesn't try it (his 3k pr is equivalent to 8:14 according to IAAF), because Huling ran 8:14 last year.
5k. Marathon has a good chance this year, too, but I think 5k has a better chance, and it's raced earlier.
Plus, who knows if Ritz will be healthy, and I won't bet on Hall running that fast without track work.

The marathon record maybe but I think Hall is the only one with the juice to do that so it makes it less likely.
Rupp might have a pretty good shot at breaking Solinskey's new record, but like a previous poster mentioned, opportunities to do so will be rare.
I think Solinskey may break the AR in the 5k early summer.
Would not be surprised to see Rupp holding the 10k record, Solinkey holding the 5k record, Symmonds on the 800 and Webb for the mile record at the end of NEXT summer.
